Great experience with this Oakville location. It was not our first. We have gotten storage units here about 3 times in the past 5-6 years. The whole building is maintained nicely and clean, in additional to being temperature controlled. Even though there are only 3 indoor parking spots and you may have to wait a little bit from time to time when you are moving things in or out. So I appreciate their max 3-hour limit per visit. For me, it’s totally fine to park outside (which doesn’t happen often) and go into the building to bring or get some items out, free from the elements.
Our most recent experience was with Jyoti who was super helpful and friendly when we went in on a Sunday in the end of April. So glad that they were open for a few hours on Sunday. She showed us the different size units that were available then & the rates for them, and helped us pick out a unit that would be most suited for our situation. I signed up for monthly auto-deduction from SmartStop too then. And because of our recent move, our credit card was up close to the limit from all the various expenses and we received emails to inform us of the situation and a link to make payment changes. Jyoti also called us personally and that was easy because I just did it over the phone with her and got it sorted out right away, without needing to drive there and/or updating them that the credit card works fine now because we paid it off.

Michelle was incredibly helpful today and helped us set up our unit. It took about half an hour. The facility is clean and monitored by office staff and live video feed. Hours of unit access are 6am to 10pm. The locks are physical and you can bring your own disc lock or purchase on site. There is a bathroom for client use only. We look forward to moving in our items!

Great prices and great promotions i highly recommend. They give you first month free and that's why I have a few units. As long as they keep the prices low and affordable and keep good promotions for new customers i will give 5 starts. Please don't change lile the others.
